Yes. You will need your own accounts for any shipping carrier(s) you would like to use.
We do not provide these accounts nor do we have "default" accounts that you could potentially use.
If you already have an active account with any carrier, you can simply add that information to carrier's configuration page in your ShippingMatrix user dashboard.
If you need to setup an account with any shipping carrier, you should contact that carrier directly.

The short answer is Yes! As long as your carrier has an available programming API (application programming interface) we should be able to connect and allow you to generate live quotes for your customers.

Yes! Multiple product origins is no problem for ShippingMatrix. You can assign shipping origins on a per-product basis as needed.
If multiple products from multple origins are in a shopping cart: ShippingMatrix will seamlessly quote each item individually on the backend, but on the frontend your customer will only see a single, consolidated quote for all the items in their cart.
Yes! ShippingMatrix fully supports table rates shipping for your products, in conjunction with any live carrier quotes as needed.
Any product can be assigned to use any shipping method, so you can configure your products as YOU need them to be.
